This set of March lambs are a little younger than past years, so they aren't quite as bloomy as some past sets for this sale. However, that is not to say that they aren't of equal or better quality when compared to past years. We are really please with this set and feel that there are options to fit a variety of judges. The lambs are simply listed in order of their birth dates. No fancy fitting on these lambs. They were just rough sheared with 13 tooth combs so that you could get a better look at them and to help minimize the stress on them. Thanks for checking out our sale and bid with confidence as this is a really strong set of lambs that will work great for shows anywhere from late fall into late spring. Lambs may be picked up at the farm by June 17th or delivery to Sedalia, MO or points in between can be arranged at no charge. We will be leaving for Sedalia on June 18th. If you would like to discuss any of these lambs, we would be happy to give you our honest opinion and read on them. Thank you for taking the time to look through our sale offering. |

This is a solid lamb that we really didn't do a very good job of getting a profile shot to do him justice. Plenty of thickness and power in this one. |

I absolutely love this lambs profile and he shows a lot of depth of muscle to go with it.
His dam is also out of one of our best ewe families. He could certainly make a big time wether. |

I'll be the first to admit that I'd like to put a little more bone and shag under this one, but if he had that he might well still be a ram. He has an awesome shape to his body and muscle. |

This beast has been a favorite from the beginning.
You won't find many that are this monster footed, huge boned, and enough shag for 3.
And you get all this in a package with a show wether look and phenominal rib shape. He didn't
cooperate on picture day to give us a shot that does him justice, but he is a really nice wether. |

This little guy is among the younger wether in this sale and he had a really poor mother.
So, he's pretty raw yet, but he is going to be one of the thickest wethers in this entire set when he
grows out. He really is a lot more powerful that his pictures show right now. |

Lot 7 - Wether
Tag 908
Sire:
Apple (Stitzlein 2350 - Equalizer son)
Dam:
G&G 722
Dam's Sire:
Kool River
Breed:
Cross
DOB:

We leased Apple from Mike to use for this late set and the good news is that we have an awesome set of ewe lambs to retain. The bad news is that he didn't throw hardly any buck lambs, so we didn't get the set of wethers we were hoping for out of him. But we do have this one who is a little raw yet, but he has a monster top and huge hip. |

Lot 8 & 9 are twins and also full brothers to last fall's Grand at Austin County Fair in Texas.
Their mom has consistantly produced solid wethers. Unfortunately, she came up half uddered this
spring, but she still raised both lamb on 1 side. As you can tell, lot 8 got the majority of mom's milk. He's gonna be thick, like the Austin lamb. |

Lot 9 - Wether

Sire:
Kool River
Dam:
G&G 214
Dam's Sire:
Alamo
Breed:
Cross

As you can see, lot 9 got a little shorted on mom's milk and is the smaller thinner twin, but he's also the cooler made one. If he puts on the thickness and muscle like his brothers, and he certainly looks like he will, he could be a lot of fun to show. |
